We invite you to join IDA Austin as we come together to support the Austin IDA Dyslexia Conference. Let’s work to raise awareness, share knowledge, and continue advocating for those with dyslexia. Austin ISD’s 10th annual Central Texas Dyslexia Conference, held virtually from October 10-31, 2024, brings together experts, educators, parents, and advocates to explore best practices and resources for supporting students with dyslexia. The event is free and available on demand, making it accessible to all from the comfort of your home.
There is no registration required for the conference. On October 10, a YouTube channel link will be available to watch any and all of the presentations. The link will be available October 10-31, 2024.
We are honored to welcome Shauna Cotte, Vice President of Keys to Literacy, as our keynote speaker. Her presentation will focus on The Key Vocabulary Routine, a research-based approach for enhancing vocabulary instruction across subjects.
In addition to the keynote, featured presentations will be led by:
- Dr. Terrie Noland, Learning Ally
